Our passports are getting a workout during the next six weeks.
From India to Myanmar (Burma) to Tanzania then Kenya and Thailand and back to India. We will be teaching a week-long intensive discipleship course in four cities, and reconnecting with our spiritual son and daughter in Myanmar.
We’ve booked sixteen (yes – 16) flights on six different airlines, obtained three new visas; coordinated and prayed with the other teachers; plus studying and packing. It seems we just started getting settled here in India and we are heading out again.
This is our mission. It’s the mission Jesus left all of us with: Go where I send you; tell people about my love and sacrifice; teach them how to follow me; make disciples in every nation. (Matthew 28:16-20)
Where is your ‘Go’? It’s different for all of us. Wherever your feet are right now, that’s your mission field. Your neighborhood, your school, your workplace, your home. Following Jesus is an exciting adventure. Our prayer is that you embrace every day of this journey, passionately fulfil your mission and see what God will do.
